Rules
outfight is an arena for products. Two go in, the crowd votes, one comes out ahead. Money decides how often you fight. It never decides who wins — and nothing on this page is a promise about traffic.
The matches
- A round lasts 15 minutes and starts on the clock — :00, :15, :30, :45. Two products per match.
- The one with more votes when the round closes wins. The winner takes a win and extends its streak; the other takes a loss.
- On a tie, the product with the lower streak wins. Still tied, the one that joined more recently wins. Both rules favour the challenger, never the incumbent.
Voting
- One vote per person per match. It is a database constraint, not a check in the interface: a second vote cannot be written even by asking twice.
- An account younger than 10 minutes can vote, but that vote weighs zero. It stops accounts created on the spot to swing a round.
- At most 8 votes a minute from the same address.
- Watching and voting are free. They always will be.
What a plan buys
- Matches a day: 1 on free, 4 on starter, 12 on pro, 24 on unlimited — and a higher place in the queue.
- That is the whole list. The plan appears nowhere in how a match is decided, and in no column of the leaderboard: wins, win rate, clicks, battles and streak are earned in the ring.
- Free does not fight in prime time — 14:00 to 22:00, server time.
- What is sold is opponents, not visitors. How many people watch is not ours to promise.
Getting in
- Anyone can link a site: one address, a name, a line under 90 characters, a category. You do not have to own it.
- Removal happens on request, with no bureaucratic verification. Every removal is logged.
- A product can be paused or banned, and a domain can be blocked outright.
- Outbound links pass through a counter, so clicks are measured rather than claimed.
Before the doors open
- The questions on the front page take one answer each, recognised by a hash of your address. No account, and no second answer.
- Answers are public: who voted shows the country, half the address and what was chosen. The full address is never stored.
- Every answer starts from one, so a question is never at zero. Real votes add on top.
