about

outfight is a perpetual arena for products. You link your site once; from then on it enters the rotation and, every 15 minutes, faces another product in a 1v1. The crowd votes on who is more interesting. The winner stays on, the loser goes back in the queue.

The one rule that does not bend

Money decides how often a product fights. It never decides who wins. There is no placement to buy, no boost, no weighted vote. In the code the plan appears in exactly two places — the order of the queue and the daily match quota — and in neither of the places that compute a result. If you ever find a way to pay for a win, that is a bug, and we want to hear about it.

How a round works

  1. Rounds are 15 minutes long and start on the clock: :00 · :15 · :30 · :45. That is 96 matches a day per ring.
  2. Pairing puts a newcomer against an established product in the same category, widening to all categories when there are not enough candidates. You do not meet the same opponent twice in a row if there is any alternative.
  3. When the round closes, the most voted side wins. On a tie the product with the shorter winning streak takes it — a draw favours the challenger, never the incumbent.
  4. Both sides then cool down for one round and go back in the queue, the winner with higher priority so it stays on screen.

How votes are counted

What a founder actually gets

Every match puts you in front of at least one certain person: your opponent, who has to read what you built in order to beat you. Beyond that, the number we report is clicks — people who left a match to open your site. A click is counted once per visitor per day, so reloading cannot inflate it. We would rather show you a small honest number than a large invented one.

What the plans change

Frequency, and only frequency. The free plan fights too, but it is kept out of prime time — between 14:00 and 22:00 server time — because that is the window paid plans are paying for. Watching and voting are free for everyone, forever. See the plans →

Getting in, and getting out

Anyone can put a site in the rotation from the entry form. Anyone can ask for a site to be taken out, including a site somebody else submitted: write to support@outfight.club and it is removed on request, without an argument about it.

Privacy

No tracking cookies and no advertising profiles. The visitor counter under the header and the click counter both work on a salted hash of the IP address — the plain address is never stored. The consequence is worth knowing: several people behind one office or mobile network count as one visitor. The number errs low, never high, which is the right direction for a number shown in public.
